    POSITION OVERVIEW


    The IT Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for the administration and optimization of in the property casino software. The IT QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our COTS software products that are used in the casino industry. This position will manage a team of SQA professionals to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    • Ensure full transparency and visibility of the state of the product quality, escalating any concerns identified with the team
    • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, vendors, product managers, and customer support teams, to ensure quality standards are met
    • Develop and implement IT QA processes and procedures that are efficient, effective, and scalable
    • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the software products meet business requirements and customer needs
    • Ensure that defects and issues are tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely and effective manner
    • Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management on the progress of the IT QA efforts
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the IT QA processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. conduct exploratory testing
    • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work experience required
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT Quality Assurance
    • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting preferred
    • Experience with deployment and support of complex hospitality and casino systems (i.e.: Enterprise ERP systems, Casino Gaming systems, Hotel PMS, Hotel Key Systems, Point-of-Sale systems, Guest Room Technology, & complex multi-system integrations) preferred
    • Working knowledge in IT project implementation or project management preferred
    • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
    • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
