IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant develops quality assurance, compliance, and implementation plans for individual IT functions that support the organization's overall service and software quality standards. Advises function leaders on best practices for the deployment of QA methodologies and processes. Being an IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant designs and incorporates plans for each function that drive quality service and product deliverables. Establishes a performance monitoring program and designs metrics that can be used to identify quality issues, analyze problems, and develop quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant trains staff on quality concepts, objectives, tools, and processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. And typically reports to a director or head of a department. The IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     If you have the heart of an Instructor and are looking for an entry-level position that isn’t your typical job, Quality Connections is looking for you. QC Instructors work in small groups, so they get the support and attention they need to thrive.  This entails caregiving with a large focus on teaching skills to help people enhance their independence in their daily lives, accomplish their goals, and begin building work skills toward employment in our community. We use the Montessori Method frequently, with training provided, but teaching styles certainly differ depending on what works best for individual people.

    Typical duties include but are not limited to: 
    • Learning how to serve adults with developmental disabilities through training with Quality Connections
    • Introducing lessons to adults with developmental disabilities and helping to guide them through the learning process.     
    • Following person-specific service plans to provide care and support in helping people achieve their individual goals
    • Observing and maintaining documentation on the progress of people receiving services
    • Ensuring health and safety standards are met by safeguarding where needed and helping to keep the environment clean
    • Assisting with personal hygiene, medications, mobility, and nutritional needs as needed
    • Lifting people to assist with personal care needs as needed
    • Professionally communicating with others both verbally and in writing
    • Providing transportation in company vehicles as needed
    • Engaging in the community, such as attending events, navigating errands, and participating in activities with people receiving services
    • Teaching enrichment classes in a subject of your choosing that you have a special interest or skill set in
    • Being creative in bringing meaningful activities to the lives of others
    • Building professional working relationships
    • Other duties as related to Quality Connections' mission and the program as they arise
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be able to work Full Time from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.

    Any combination of education, training, or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be at least 18 years of age, a High School graduate or equivalent.

    Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and a clean driving record for the last 3 years. Must be able to pass the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety background check. Must obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card through the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety.
