POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will perform basic information technology (IT) support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors, operates, and assists IT personnel with the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals to achieve desired results. Utilizes computer equipment, software, and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer assistance, production job processing, equipment maintenance and repair, and computer operations assignments. This role will serve as the primary contact for primary care, with an emphasis on providing support to medical, requiring training to service medical hardware and software. Requires minimum supervision and may act as lead when the need arises. Exercises judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly and determines when to refer problems to the supervisor or next level of support.
This position requires compliance with Health Center’s compliance standards, including its Standards of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Such compliance will be an element considered as part of the position’s regular performance evaluation.

The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing or stooping. The work is typically performed in an office.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to manipulate, handle, or feel; and, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts light and occasionally objects up to 50 pounds, climbs ladders, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position requires operation of a motor vehicle.
