Job Title: Systems Developer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract (W2 only)

Summary:
The ideal candidate will develope Central Accounts Payable System (CAPS), used for Administration of Financial Operations. CAPS interfaces with many other internal OCFS applications, including some that are considered Priority/Critical. This position requires specialized, in-depth knowledge of programming concepts and software design techniques. Position includes technical documentation and varied communication with both technical and non-technical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Work in coordination with a team of developers to code the current .Net applications in latest version.
• Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
• Perform testing and review for interfaces with other agency applications.
• Perform complex coding and financial report development.
• Assist with responding to data requests from associated systems.
• The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Portfolio Manager.
• Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 Years Experience developing n-tiered , MVC applications utilizing .Net. 4.8 or above.
• 7 Years Experience writing and developing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) SOAP and REST Services.
• 7 Years Experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle databases.
• 6 Years Experience in design and developing application reports using Microsoft reporting tools such as SSRS.
• 6 Years Experience design & deployment of complex SQL objects and relational databases design.
• 5 Years Experience doing CI/CD using tools like Azure DevOps performing tasks such as automated builds, writing build & release pipelines, and creating work items.
• Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science related field of study

Required Skills:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $52.00 per year
