Position Overview:
The Shipping Lead will oversee our fulfillment operations, ensuring student membership materials and product orders are accurately packed and shipped. The role also involves assisting the office manager with inventory management, restocking, and preparing shipping materials. This dynamic position offers varied responsibilities depending on seasonal demand and order volume. Our shipping area is located in a comfortable office setting—not a warehouse—making this a pleasant and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain attention to detail while packing, processing, and reviewing orders.
• Lift and handle boxes weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Determine the best shipping methods and utilize shipping software.
• Assemble pre-packaged materials for fulfillment.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
• Use a pallet jack and restock shipping areas daily.
• Provide general office support as needed; familiarity with Excel and telephone skills is a plus.
• Ability to utilize web-based applications and the internet proficiently.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
• Start Date: January 13, 2025
• Starting Pay: $17 per hour, negotiable based on experience and skills
• Location: Flat Rock, NC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
