Position Brief:
With technical guidance from the Manager, Technical Applications and the Director of Clinical
Applications, the IT Support Technician functions as a technician performing installation and support of printers, computers (PC’s), peripheral equipment, end user network connectivity, mobile and desktop- based applications, and VOIP telecommunications systems. This position is responsible for providing support for organizational computer software and performing repairs to hardware. Assist with and performs training for end users on software and hardware.
An IT Support Technician provides Tier 1 phone support and ticket resolution, new PC setup, respond to end-users’ requests and provides on call support.
