Job Purpose: The Senior IT Business Analyst role is to drive the successful alignment of information technology solutions
with business objectives, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT projects and initiatives. This position plays a
critical role in bridging the gap between technology and cross-functional business areas, working closely with stakeholders
to gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to
enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
Use a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights.
Work with business users to understand requirements.
Work closely with functional leaders to fully understand their business needs and identify the best way to address the
needs using existing software.
When needed evaluate other software solutions to address the needs of the business.
Assist the development team with documenting the data flow and overall system workflow.
Ensure that any new software integration into ASB systems meets functional requirements, system compliance and
interface specifications.
Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify
and resolve systems issues.
Coordinate and meet with the business leaders to ensure that business requirements are clear and include defined
ranges for changes to the existing system or needed functionality within all systems new and existing.
Serve as the quality analysts to thoroughly test the features of the new system and ensure it meets all the functions
that were defined in the original business requirements.
Develop business requirement documentation to include process flow, use cases, and system diagrams.
Work closely with the development team to ensure they fully understand the business requirements and they are
delivering a quality solution.
Oversee implementation of projects with internal and external consultant groups from inception to completion.
Documents the project from the initial conception, through the requirements phase, design, development, and
implementation.
Validates results by working closely with subject matter experts to test programs.
Ensures operation by training business partners in the use of new system or changes to the existing system.
Constantly looks for new ways to improve the processes, procedures, and overall workflow within the organization.
Is an advocate of change within the organization capable of communicating the process improvements to the
business processes.
Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for solving using
analysis.
Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency to develop strategies for improving or leveraging
these systems.
Qualifications:
3 years as a Business Systems Analyst.
3 years direct experience in full life cycle software development.
Experience with Infor M3 or similar ERP manufacturing, sales, and distribution systems.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in business or Computer Science or similar experience.
Experience working with reporting and data analytic software.
Technical background and knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Experience with cloud based ERP systems.
Sharp problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technicians.
Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
Solid technical background and skilled at developing releases for upgrades, troubleshooting and implementation of
new software programs.
Keen leadership and project management skills, ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
Strong knowledge of system and software best practices and methodologies.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Ability to adjust priorities and execute tasks in a fast pace environment.
Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative agile environment.
Knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
Ability to identify and document business requirements, ensure quality of data and pull of information to assist with
analyzing key business questions.
Ability to understand existing business processes and assist with efforts to re-engineer processes.
Proficiency in basic project management.
Ability to work with business and third-party consultants in support of our software integrations process is a key
requirement. Support of workflow design, business process mapping, and requirements gathering will be a critical
part of this position.
Work Environment: Hybrid/remote- 6 days in office moving to 12 days in office beginning in January 2024. Preference given to candidates near Grovetown, GA or Sidney, OH
