IT Applications Analyst, II

We are seeking an IT Applications Analyst, II to:

• Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
• Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
• Focus on delivering quality, efficiency, and positive outcomes through the use of technology to meet the strategic and operation initiatives of SwedishAmerican Health System (SAHS)
• Manage the Health System's technology projects including selection, budgeting, installation, training, maintenance, and upgrades of the computerized systems utilized by SAHS.
• Act as liaison between the customer, Information System's technical staff and hardware and software vendors to ensure a properly functioning system and optimal use of information technology.
• Write or facilitate the creation of custom reports with a Senior Application Analyst for those systems with report writing capability.
• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of computerized interfaces.
• Be accessible for critical system support when needed.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business, or rlated field required. In lieu of degree, at least four (4) years analyst experience and certification, if applicable, in the system(s) the analyst will support, required.
• Project Management training/certification desired.

Experience/Skills:

• Able to manage technology projects
• Sound troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling.
• Possess proven computer and analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Have working knowledge of current operating system deployed at SAHS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with systems currently used by SAHS desired.
• Possess organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Prioritize work load to meet health system needs.
• Employ excellent consulting skills.
• Strong customer service focus.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Vendor issued certification of application knowledge or competency for assigned systems required where available.
  • The due date for obtaining certification will be determined by the assigned system taking into account training availability, duration, testing and certification requirements.

Pay:
SwedishAmerican offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
