Job Summary :

Performs cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Requires operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuums.
• Visual acuity to detail cleanliness.
• Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Attendance : works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy.

Working Conditions :

• Work is performed inside with good ventilation and comfortable temperatures.
• This job classification has occasional exposure to electric shock, x-ray and electromagnetic energy.
• This job classification has routine exposure to radiation hazards, biohazardous materials, noxious odors, latex and musculoskeletal injuries.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be comfortable lifting and carrying 25 lbs. frequently, pushing or pulling greater than 100 lbs.
• Must be comfortable with frequent / prolonged walking, standing with occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing and stooping.
