Jig and Fixture Builder jobs in Florida
Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - Laminate cabinets and fixtures built by other members of our shop team·
- Work with laminate, mica, veneer and solid woods·
- Assist in cutting and assembling cabinets and fixtures.
- Provide quality workmanship in expected time frame·
- Cut a variety of materials on a table saw and operate all small hand tools associated with the job (routers, miter saws, belt sanders, file edger and more)
- A plus if you have woodworking and cabinet-building experience.
Details and Requirements
- Full Time
- Daily Work Schedule 7:30 am- 4 pm
- Occasional Saturday Morning Overtime Opportunities
- Tools Provided by company
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted
Salary Range - $17.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience
