    Job Summary/Description:

    WOWT seeks a multi-media- journalist who will shoot, write, and produce content on air and online. He/she will have a demonstrated ability to work individually or as part of a team to produce compelling packages on deadline and the time management skills to produce news stories for the station.

    Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    • Reporting
    • Shooting video as needed
    • Writing and Editing
    • Posting stories on the web
    • Posting content to station social media platforms

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism or related field
    • Great communication and people skills
    • Competitive, energetic, and self-starter
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Enjoy a fast-paced environment with a desire to win
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
