Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is currently hiring a Junior Project Manager. This position is responsible for working with and supporting the Senior Project Manager.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydroblasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Job Description: 

• Assist with environmental / industrial projects (cost estimates, budget spreadsheet, subcontractors, etc.) while collaborating with internal and external clients.
• Assist with interfacing with the customer to ensure all requirements are met / customer satisfaction.
  
• Work with vendors / suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery dates.
• May coordinate with operations manager on work schedules / manpower needs.
• Work with team to complete assigned tasks.
• Develop project progress status reports.
• Identify work hazards and develop safety execution plans.
• Assist with administering contract and change orders.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Work closely with Senior Project Manager and departments to coordinate & communicate relevant project information to the team.
• Prepare daily job packs.
• Assist with scheduling deadlines and maintaining project deliverables schedules for multiple projects.
• Maintaining project folders and ensuring document/record transfer information into project software
• Follow GEIR safety standards.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, scheduling software, etc.)
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and assignments.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to interface with employees in all levels of the company.
• Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.

Pay:

• $45,000 to $55,000/year
