OVERVIEW:
Looking for entry-level candidates that may have other finance, cost accounting or other project
management related experience. Candidate will be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and
driven. However, this candidate will also be trained how to do estimating using our system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with customers to understand their needs.
Review and evaluate cost estimates and prepare cost analysis on jobs.
Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current
projects.
Understand how to quote bids, prepare estimates, and purchase orders.
Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products.
Manage bid pricing from all vendors.
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
COMPETENCIES:
Experience in construction estimating, a plus.
Able to read blueprints then develop cost estimates.
Understanding of construction processes.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
Impeccable problem-solving skills.
Sales experience also a plus.
The ability to be detail-oriented in order to successfully review information and complete
projects.
Good verbal and oral communication and interpersonal skills, as a junior estimator is
required to possess excellent customer service skills and also liaise efficiently with
clients, contractors, and management.
Basic knowledge of building and construction.
Well-developed organizational and self-management skills, which enables a junior
estimator to maintain his or her composure in order to work effectively under pressure
and also meet up with tight deadlines.

Pay: $31,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
