    Position Summary

    The Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing the core banking system. They serve as the primary contact for technical issues, system configuration and customization, as well as integration management.

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Observe and demonstrate both internal and external Service Standards at all times.
    2. Core System, Imaging System, CRM System, and Online Banking Support:
      • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the core banking system and online banking applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
      • Serve as the primary contact for technical issues related to the core system and online banking platforms, resolving problems in a timely manner.
    3. System Configuration and Customization:
      • Configure core system and online banking applications to meet the specific needs of the credit union.
      • Implement software upgrades, patches, and new features for the core system and online banking platforms while minimizing disruption to operations.
    4. Integration Management:
      • Work on integrating core systems with third-party applications, such as payment processing, mobile banking, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
      • Ensure seamless data flow and communication between different systems to enhance member services.
    5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
      • Conduct system testing and quality assurance for core system updates and online banking enhancements.
      • Work with stakeholders to ensure that changes meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
    6. User Training and Support:
      • Train credit union staff on new functionalities and updates related to the core system and online banking.
      • Develop documentation, guides, and procedures for internal users and members.
    7. Compliance and Security:
      • Monitor online banking applications for potential security risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
      • Implement security best practices to protect member data and the credit union’s digital infrastructure.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
    • College courses or degree is preferred
    • Core Banking System Experience (Symitar/Jack Henry)
    • Online Banking Knowledge – Technology and Principles
    • System Integration and API Knowledge
    • Cybersecurity practices related to Team One applications

    Preferred Qualifications

    • College courses or degree is preferred
    • Experience maintaining and enhancing financial services applications
    • Understanding of credit union specific regulatory requirements
    • Certifications in system analysis, PowerBi and core banking platforms

    Physical Demands and Working Environment

    • Sitting, standing, bending, ability to move through the building as necessary.
    • Work Environment: Indoors, climate-controlled office
    • Travel Requirement: Minimal (less than 10%), as required for training or temporary assignments at other locations
