  • The Elk County Probation and Parole Office is seeking:

    Juvenile Probation Officer

    Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s degree, with a background of at least 18 credits in the behavioral or social sciences from an accredited college or university and a valid PA driver’s license.

    Completion of Juvenile Probation Academy is required within one year of employment.

    On-call duties (one-week at a time, every other week) are a required element of this position.

    A juvenile probation officer investigates and supervises juveniles on probation to foster their personal, social and educational adjustment in the community and providing aftercare supervision for juveniles released from placement facilities. Also prepares regular reports of activities and contacts, attends court hearings and other formal proceedings.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $35,031.00 per year
