Laboratory Courier picks up and delivers medical specimens and packages for a laboratory. Ensures timely, safe, and accurate delivery. Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Provide excellent customer service and responds to customer’s requests.
Candidate must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, and some weekends based on operational needs.
Must have a consistently positive attitude and be able to work well with customers and other employees.
Must be capable of carrying and stocking a variety of products including boxes that are approximately 50 lbs. and be capable of lifting at least 75 lbs.
Must be creative and self-motivated to solve problems as they arise.
Must have excellent communication skills and a true desire to provide our customers the highest level of service.
Must have a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Must be flexible, adaptable and willing to handle a variety of responsibilities.
Must be reliable and dependable.
