Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to oversee our laboratory operations. The Laboratory Director will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of laboratory professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques, FDA regulations, and molecular biology.
Duties:
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes
- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, such as GLP and CGMP
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of test results
- Analyze laboratory data and provide recommendations for process improvement
- Train and mentor laboratory staff on laboratory techniques and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including test results, quality control measures, and equipment maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and industry best practices
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and guidelines
- Strong background in molecular biology and histology

- Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
