Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a staff who surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations.     LEAD GROOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Onboard all new associates and groomers, ensuring their completion of all training requirements and annual safety certifications, any required certifications by the state, and ensuring that each groomer represents the brand in a positive way according to our standards.
    • Drive our state-of-the-art 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to scheduled appointments in the Medford OR area – equipped with the latest insulation technology to ensure you can work in comfort all year long.
    • Ensure you and your groomers provide professional services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.
    • Develop a local business growth and advertising strategy with other members of Furry Land and oversee its execution of it.
    • Ensure that the vans being used for mobile grooming are being properly maintained, serviced, and registered, and oversee any upkeep or repairs required to the vehicles.
    • Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity. Covering shifts as necessary for customer satisfaction on scheduled appointments.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

    LEAD GROOMER REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types.
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently.
    • Passion for working with animals and a demonstrated ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality grooming services.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules.
    • Ability to handle and lift all breed sizes.
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand.
    • Certification from a reputable grooming school or a similar grooming qualification is highly desirable.
    • 5 years of experience in guest service roles as a store partner is preferred.
    • Experience supervising partners, or demonstrating an aptitude for training, motivation and sales techniques, and analytical abilities is preferred.
    • A minimum of one year of experience in all breeds of grooming is required.
    • Experience monitoring and providing direction to Grooming partners is preferred.
    • Previous supervisory experience and prior retail experience are preferred.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    Directly supervise all mobile salon staff. Provide guidance and training to mobile salon staff. Test potential applicants for grooming procedures and evaluate skills on other job-related tasks. Complete performance evaluations for all mobile salon partners.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
