Laundry Aide

What will you be doing?

• Tend laundering machines to clean linens and clothing
• Load articles into washing machine
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer to dryer
• Sorts dry articles according to identification number or type of article
• Folds articles and places in appropriate storage bins
• Understand functions of various soaps and bleaches
• Understands and practices infection control techniques
• Ensures all clothes are mended and ready to wear
• Ability to interact positively with residents and families
• Attend mandatory in-service training
• Other duties as assigned

Shift/Hours: 8 hour shifts 7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm
