Our Laundry Aides perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents. Will ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices ensuring satisfaction is a top priority. This position is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn: :

• • Part Time
• - Mornings / Day Shift - 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM

• • You will attend to multiple areas of the facility to ensure cleanliness and dispose of trash
• • You will maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and floors
• • You will assist with collecting, washing, drying, folding and redistributing laundry/linens
• • You may be assigned housekeeping projects outside on the facility grounds

• • Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• • Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• • Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• • Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.

• • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
