Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender sets-up and operates a conditioner machine that semi-dries and untangles flatwork. Prepares clothing articles for ironing. Being a Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender may require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow instructions and work effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in welding is required.
- Keep work areas clean and clear of debris.
- Use measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Load and unload materials by hand.
- Perform other various types of manual labor.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Operate a forklift (training provided)
