Job Title: Digital Literacy Instructor
Location: Reading, Lancaster, Pottstown, and Allentown, PA.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lessons on digital literacy, including computer basics, online safety, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and internet navigation.
- Provide hands-on instruction in both group settings and one-on-one tutoring as needed.
- Assess students’ digital literacy levels and tailor lessons to meet their needs.
- Use in-person and online teaching tools to provide hybrid learning opportunities.
- Assist students in developing the skills necessary to use digital tools for job searching, resume building, online communication, and career advancement.
- Support students learning to use various devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Evaluate students' progress and provide feedback to them and the Program Coordinator.
- Please collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment and share best practices.
- I'd like you to maintain accurate student attendance records, progress, and assessments.
- Stay updated on digital literacy tools and trends to provide relevant and up-to-date instruction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience teaching digital literacy or working in a technology-related field.
- Strong knowledge of commonly used digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, internet browsers, email, etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex digital concepts clearly and simply.
- Experience working with adult learners or diverse populations is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) is a plus.
- The ability to lead and provide a welcoming environment.
