We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality beverages and exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; notify management when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.

Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and the food industry is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Previous experience in sales or food handling is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.50 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
