POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer/Chief Administrative Offer, the Business Analyst role has the key function of providing critical business insights via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information and developing and presenting solutions.
An excellent opportunity to work with a great company business supporting the COO and leadership team. Your role will be highly visible and give you exposure across finance, commercial and operational matters.
This position requires a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles and cost models with understanding of the overall company objectives. Ability to collaborate well with others, focus on continuous improvement, and a strong desire to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues. Critical thinking mindset with a proactive initiative to manage exposure and maximize success opportunities for the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supportrng business analysis to ensure robust commercial outcomes and optimize the business.

Analyzing financial and commercial data such as supply agreements, customer contracts, tenders, and financial results.

Monitoring economic trends, financial information, and industry news.

Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements.

Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.

Modeling processes and identifying opportunities for process and systems improvements.

Evaluating opportunities, estimating costs, and identifying business savings/enhancements.

Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the entire team.

Implementing and testing of solutions.

Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
-
Preparing reports, presentations and documentation and helping negotiate business agreements.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing or a related field.

MBA preferred.

Industry knowledge (Aviation, Oil & Gas, Emerging Markets)

Strong business and financial acumen with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills including high impact communicator, both written and oral.

Organizational Skills - vigilance, organization, and time management

Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, organize, and effectively manage time to work independently and meet deadlines.

Capable to work under pressure while managing conflicting priorities and tight timelines.

Computer skills (MS Suite) with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
