Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Estimator to join our team, specializing in the accurate assessment of construction project costs and providing expert insights into pricing strategies and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop precise cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather essential bid information.
• Utilize construction estimating software, such as Procore, to prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, conditions, and potential challenges.
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive rates.
• Track and monitor project costs during construction to ensure budget adherence.
• Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities to optimize project expenses.
• Develop comprehensive bid proposals for submission.

Required Skills:

• Experience in construction estimating methods and software.
• Ability to complete a bid, start to finish.
• Solid understanding of project management and construction principles.
• Ability to assess construction site conditions and requirements effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills for engaging with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proven experience with cost control processes in construction projects.
• Familiarity with Construction Management best practices.
• Ability to deliver accurate estimates aligned with project scope and specifications.

At this time, we are only accepting resumes from estimators with prior experience. Candidates must have the ability to independently manage the entire bidding process, from the initial Invitation to Bid (ITB) through to final bid submission. While advanced training will be provided once hired, this is not an entry-level position. We are looking for professionals who are already proficient in all aspects of construction estimating and capable of delivering accurate, competitive bids.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
