The Logistics Program Manager (HSI) is crucial in overseeing various programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities align with specified objectives. This position focuses primarily on managing Human Systems Integration (HSI) activities within different programs. Over time, additional logistics disciplines such as provisioning, technical manuals, training, and supply support may also be incorporated into their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:Monitor and ensure the implementation of programs per specified objectives.
2. Interface with customers and collaborate with company personnel to negotiate cost and schedule changes.
3. Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing programs.
4. Direct and coordinate program activities related to Human Systems Integration (HSI).
5. Goal and Objective Management:Ensure that goals and objectives for specified programs are achieved in line with contractual requirements.
6. Develop and maintain status reports as required by contract specifications and internal management.
7. Reporting:Create and update status reports as required by contract specifications.
8. Produce internal reports as dictated by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5-10 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related field.
• Experience with Human Systems Integration (HSI) or Human Factors Engineering is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in shipbuilding or other fabrication industries.
• Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Applicable program management or shipbuilding industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Proven experience in interfacing regularly with customers and internal/external project stakeholders.
• Outstanding leadership, motivational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ASTM F1166, F1337, and MIL-STD-1472G is a plus.
