    The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a variety of human resource initiatives and serves as the primary contact for employees, managers, and applicants throughout the hiring, onboarding, and off-boarding processes. Additionally, this role works to ensure data integrity and accuracy across various HR systems and files.
    Experience and Skills:

    Qualifications:
    • 1-3 years of experience in a professional, customer service-focused environment, preferably in a staffing or human resources capacity; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
    • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems/HRIS systems a plus
    • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgement
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven customer service orientation with the ability to proactively work with both internal and external clients
    • Comfortable with variety; able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Highly detailed, committed to accuracy and follow-through
    • Individual contributor who will thrive in a collaborative team environment
    • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
    Duties:
    • Actively maintain HRIS database and personnel files to ensure records are accurate. Update new employee information and various employee changes after verifying necessary documentation and approvals have been obtained; accountable for following up with managers and/or employee if information is incomplete.
    • Facilitate firm-wide staffing workflow and candidate communication; places and handles job postings on various job boards; conducts and reviews background checks, and drafts offer letters.
    • Run new hire onboarding processes, proactively coordinate and troubleshoot with other departments as needed, route all new hire paperwork as appropriate; update systems (People Book, HRIS, Employee Portal, Constant Contact) and folders in a timely manner.
    • Support employee off-boarding process, ensure appropriate paperwork is submitted and processed; send continuation of benefits materials and exit interview forms to former employees; review and respond to unemployment claims
    • Act as first point of contact responding to a broad range of HR related inquires including policy and benefit questions; routes and raises issues to the appropriate HR resource
    • Departmental Projects to include surveys, ad hoc reporting, other Human Capital department initiatives, etc.
    • Work closely with Human Capital team members and other colleagues to support the needs of the department and the firm
    • Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary!
