The Lease Operator operates oil production and injection equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. Responsible for daily upkeep and maintenance of oil wells. Being a Lease Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Reports and interprets metrics such as volume and pressure of gas and oil within the well. In addition, Lease Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Being a Lease Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
