PRL is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Executive to lead our team in driving revenue and profit growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in the trucking industry.
*Responsibilities*
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue and profit goals.
- Promote PRL and identify new business opportunities through regular weekly sales visits.
- Using a consultative sales approach, meet in-person and over-the-phone to prospect for customers, build relationships with existing clients and close rental, lease, and trailer sales transactions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by cultivating new client relationships and securing contract renewals with existing customers.
- Leverage market insights, LinkedIn, and personal networks to generate leads that align with sales objectives.
- Negotiate rental and leasing contracts, including pricing, rates, and terms, while collaborating with Operations to ensure trailers are prepared for pickup.
- Manage sales tracking and reporting using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of Business to Business (B2B) sales related experience.
- A minimum of 5 years Outside Sales/Consultative account selling experience
- Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to grow the business.
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook and Excel
- Leadership with the ability to inspire and guide the team toward success.
