Additionally, Leasing Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Leasing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Leasing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Anchorage International Airport is looking for an Airport Leasing Specialist 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!



    What you will be doing:

    This position is responsible for drafting leasing contracts, contract amendments, permits, and right-of-way agreements by stipulating the term of the contract, calculating square footage, computing rental fees, determining public notice requirements, and drafting instructions for the preparation of appropriate exhibits. You will serve as one of the States valued agents for State-owned lands and facilities. You will administer the leasing of airport space and property for commercial and private use, along with the issuance of business activity permits. You will also evaluate requests for changes to lease agreements and sub-leases, ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions, and resolve problems and conflicts with lessees.

    AIRPORT SECURITY BADGE
    Candidates for this position must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations (49 CFR 1542) which requires fingerprinting and a criminal background check.
