The office of Farthing Legal, PC is seeking an experienced full-time legal assistant/secretary for busy position. Typing speed of 70 wpm and ability to prioritize multiple tasks is required.
Responsibilities include:
● Answering phones,
● Maintaining and scheduling appointments and court dates,
● Opening and managing case files, initiating communications with clients, courts and other attorneys,
and
● Data entry, online court filing, management of paperless files
Required Skills and Experience:
● Ability to multitask with ease and prioritize work as needed,
● Highly organized with excellent time management skills,
● Ability to learn new tools quickly,
● Excellent interpersonal communication,
● Strong writing skills, and
● Ability to work independently and under the pressure of deadlines
