Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment for multiple attorneys. Able to type from dictation. Capable of scheduling court dates. Ability to prioritize. Familiar with legal documents, such as subpoenas, motions, and summonses. Comfortable communicating with potential clients or other attorney's offices via email, over the phone, or in person. Candidates must be PC Proficient, Verbal Communication, Internal Communications, Dependability, Professionalism, Client Relationships and ability to function independently are a must.

Duties:
- Manage legal documents including subpoenas, motions, and summonses.
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule deadlines, court dates, and appointments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other legal offices via email, phone, and in person.
- Organize large volumes of information and records for electronic and paper storage.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Utilize PC skills including Excel spreadsheets and Word for document management.
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills for internal interactions.
- Uphold professionalism in client relationships.
- Work independently with a high level of dependability.

Experience:
- Proven experience in clerical duties within a legal setting.
- Familiarity with legal document management systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
