Position Summary
The Legal Secretaries provide all aspects of legal and administrative support for attorney. Their primary duties include providing Attorney with direct assistance, scheduling client appointments and organizing and maintaining all legal documents kept on-site.
Legal Secretary Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide all aspects of responsible legal and administrative support for Attorney including:
Qualifications:
· Confidentiality is a must
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of standard office practices and ability to use standard office equipment such as copy/fax machine, multi-line telephone, and personal computer
· Microsoft Office Suite or other word processing experience: 1 year proficiency
· Excellent planning, organization and multitasking skills
· Possesses strong clerical skills including typing, transcribing, word processing, mail and contact management, spreadsheets, presentations, and all of the firm's systems and databases.
· Exhibits good judgment and organizational skills
· Consistently provides friendly and helpful telephone and in person support
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
· 9 AM – 5 PM day shift
· Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
· Lanark, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education and Experience:
· High school and preferably with credits leading to a degree
· 1- 2 years as secretary or administrative assistant
· Microsoft Office or other word processing experience
· Quickbooks or other accounting software experience
