Wellington State Bank is searching for an organized, attentive, lending assistant to provide exceptional service to our customers by handling routine tasks involving consumer, commercial, and real estate loans.

Banking Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Loan Officers with the collection and organization of customer information such as credit reports, OFAC reports, MLA reports, financial statements, credit applications and collateral information for various loans.
• Prepare and produce consumer, commercial and real estate loan documents in compliance per specifications provided by Loan Officers.
• Process loans within bank core program and handle loan proceeds.
• Prepare and process documents for any loan modifications and extensions.
• Process loan payments and payoffs for customers.
• Contact title companies, attorney and loan officers for their document input with processing Real Estate loans, as well as contacting the customer to update them on the loan process and setting up closing dates.
• Maintain an accurate loan filing system within the bank as well as keeping loan files up to date within bank’s document software.
• Input up to date credit tracking on each customer to keep track of important filing due dates.
• Be actively involved in community activities that the bank sponsors and developing new potential customer relationships.
