Library Assistant jobs in Gilead, NE

Duties:
- Assist library patrons with locating and accessing materials
- Perform cataloging duties to ensure accurate organization of library resources
- Collect and maintain data on library usage and circulation
- Enter data into the library's integrated library system
- Type and write reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed
- Provide basic library services such as issuing library cards and processing returns
- Communicate effectively with library staff and patrons to provide information and assistance
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the library

Skills:
- Proficient in cataloging techniques and practices
- Strong data collection and data entry skills
- Excellent typing and writing abilities
- Familiarity with library services and resources
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and patrons
- Knowledge of databases and integrated library systems
