ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Library Operations
Answer questions and provide information about library resources; help students in locating and accessing materials for research, reference and assignments.
Check books and other library materials in and out; shelve materials.Assist in periodic inventory of books and materials.
Assist in maintaining physical appearance of library.Supervision of Students
Monitor student behavior in the library.Audio / Visual Support
Maintain audio-visual materials; receives and distributes films and tapes; follow-up on overdue materials.Troubleshoot problems with audio-visual equipment;
replace bulbs; calls for service as needed.Oversee the inventory of audio / visual materials.Assist outside organizations that use the building with their audio / visual requests.OTHER FUNCTIONS :
Lunchroom and classroom monitoring, as needed.Other duties as requested by administration.QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diplomaSPECIAL SKILLS :
Library and / or classroom experience preferred.Basic computer skills.
