Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical social work services to patients and their families. Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker coaches patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provides therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Requires a master's degree in social work. Additionally, Licensed Clinical Social Worker requires Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Requires the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) Details:- Outpatient/Inpatient Clinician.
- Conducting consultations to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional, mental, or behavioral disturbances upon request from a medical professional.
- Provide a wide range of psychosocial assessments and preliminary diagnostic impressions, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services to patients.
- Provide brief evaluations to reduce the impact of symptoms and/or coordinate a referral to other appropriate service providers.
Pay:- $35-$37.50/hr
- $99.31-$106.41/OT
- $1,500 weekly untaxed stipend
- Weekly gross on 40 hours: $2,900-$3,000
- Weekly direct deposit every Friday.
- Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
Travel & Housing:- Up to $1,500 travel reimbursement on flights hotels.
- $1,400-$1,800 per month on-site housing available.
- Up to $450 for AK Licensure reimbursement.
Schedule and Timeline:- 6-month direct contract with a high potential to extend.
- Mon-Fri. 8am-5pm
- 40 hours per week.
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) Qualifications:- M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Social Work or Psychology.
- AK LCSW License, or ability to obtain.
- Previous clinical experience in a mental healthcare setting.
- Clean background check upon hire.
