Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Management jobs in Montana
Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Management coordinates with healthcare providers and plan members to maximize member benefits while managing costs. Assesses medical necessity of patient admissions, surgical and diagnostic procedures, and other related services. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Management conducts pre-certification or authorization, and monitors compliance with established medical guidelines and policies. May assist members in appeals for denied services. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Management requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Management's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Join the Sooner Medical team as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing correctional patient care where the need is highest. We are looking for nurses to fill in at a correctional facility in Yellowstone County MT.
This is a contract role, 12 week commitment. Must be local or willing to relocate to the area.
Schedule: night shifts, rotating 12's.
Pay: $52 per hour
No COVID Vaccination Required!
Daily payout 7 days a week!
Responsibilities:
The LPN is responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned area in terms of individualized client needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction/delegation of the registered nurse.Qualifications:
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license
- Current CPR
- Ability to pass a background check
