May be responsible for patient triage. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Competitive compensation with attractive differentials.The Dialysis Center of Lincoln is looking for a compassionate nurse to provide care to our patients in an outpatient setting. We have smaller than average nurse to patient ratios.Schedule:
- 3-4 days a week. 10–11-hour shifts.
- 98% of our nurses work early morning/day shift.
- No overnights
- No Sundays
- No on-call
- Outpatient clinic closed on Christmas Day.
What you can expect:- Our nurses build long term relationships with our patient and their families in our out-patient setting.
- Working on a team that feels and functions as a family. Our nurses are part of an interdisciplinary team working with technicians, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, and physicians to provide patient centered care.
- Utilization and ability to use a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. Caring for patient who have multiple co-morbidities.
- A fast-paced environment. Our nurses oversee a small group of patients with full support from our patient care technicians.
Requirements:- Current RN licensure or confirmed graduation date from accredited school of nursing.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency. You will be required to chart patient’s assessments, orders, and notes in our electronic medical record system.
- Current CPR or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification upon hire.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required.
