Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position Summary
Industrial Light Equipment Operators will operate construction equipment such as but not limited to bob cats, excavators, back hoes, forklifts and graders to move equipment and other materials.
They will also be responsible for the safety, inspection, and possibly assisting with repairs of equipment. The position will be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities.

Physical Requirements
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of sitting. Will talk and hear to communicate. Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull : objects, materials, controls and tools.
May be required to lift, carry and move up to lbs. Must be able to pass a visual acuity assessment. Must be able to use fingers in precise coordinated movements.
Must have good dexterity in arms, legs, hands, and feet. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to : hard hat, safety glasses / goggles, ear plugs / muffs, masks / respirators, safety vests, gloves, fire retardant clothing and leather work boots.
