Lineman constructs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground transmission lines. Performs site preparation tasks, including digging holes or trenches, installing anchors, climbing poles, and using equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, and dump trucks. Being a Lineman installs wire and cable. Follows all safety regulations and procedures. Additionally, Lineman work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Lineman works under moderate supervision.     What you'll do You will install and repair aerial telecommunications cable. You will safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.

    You will flag traffic when required. You will understand separation and clearance regulations. You will safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.

    You will maintain safe working habits / conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies. Qualifications Who we are looking for Previous experience as a cable / telecommunications lineman Ability to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as;
