Litigation Docket Manager jobs in Salt Lake City, UT
Litigation Docket Manager oversees the team responsible for tracking the organization's docket files and records. Ensures records and deadlines are properly and timely entered into the calendar. Being a Litigation Docket Manager generates reports detailing action items and due dates. Monitors deadlines and works with attorneys to resolve scheduling conflicts. Additionally, Litigation Docket Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Docket Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Litigation Docket Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Our court reporting firm is actively seeking a part-time enthusiastic office assistant. Our team works in a fast-paced, yet casual and fun environment. We are seeking an employee who shows a positive attitude daily, has a strong work ethic, can work well with a team as well as independently, and is highly motivated and possesses the desire to learn.
Position hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (somewhat flexible)
Position pay is $18.00/hr.Responsibilities
Responsibilities and requirements are, but not limited to:
- General office duties and tasks
- Great professional communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to photocopy and bind per instruction
- Ability to sort, file and email
- Answer and manage phone calls
- Precise calendar entry
- Postage outgoing mail
- Quality control
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented is a MUST
- Must show initiative
- Positive attitude
- Ability to maintain professional relationships

The successful applicant will have to get up to speed quickly and therefore, we will only consider those who meet the criteria listed above.
