Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Automotive Service Manager to join our team. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. This includes managing a team of mechanics, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of automotive repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure the smooth operation of the automotive service department
- Schedule and assign work to mechanics, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair procedures
- Proficient in service writing and sales techniques
- Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus
- Familiarity with tire service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
