Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Unloader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that materials are accurately loaded and unloaded from trucks and containers. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely.

Duties
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized work area and ensure that all materials are stored properly within the distribution center.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist in building pallets for shipping, ensuring that all items are securely packaged for transport.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and storage processes.

Qualifications
- Warehouse experience in a distribution center setting
- Proficiency in order picking and loading/unloading tasks
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and RF scanners
- Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and shipping/receiving processes

Pay: $22.50 - $23.70 per hour
