Position Overview:

As a Loader/Unloader at Truck Jet, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading cargo from our trucks, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and securely. Your role is critical to maintaining our high standards of service and timely deliveries to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring all goods are handled with care and packed securely to prevent damage during transport.
• Inspect Shipments: Perform visual inspections of cargo before loading and after unloading to ensure the accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Use of Equipment: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment as necessary to handle goods effectively and safely.
• Organization: Help organize goods in the warehouse or truck bays, ensuring everything is properly placed and stored according to company guidelines.
• Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of goods loaded and unloaded, ensuring that all paperwork is properly completed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling goods, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse and logistics team members to meet daily loading and unloading goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or loading/unloading role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to [insert weight], regularly during shifts.
• Familiarity with loading equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Pay: $20.59 - $22.61 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to Relocate:

• Bridgewater Township, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
