POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Museum Assistants provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience during their visit to the museum. This position is public facing and will require regular engagement with visiting guests, museum staff, and volunteers through the course of a normal working day. This central role supports the Security Department by helping protect The Phillips Collection’s artwork from being touched, damaged, destroyed or stolen. Museum Assistants collaborate and work closely with staff throughout the museum to garner safety buy-in and guest engagement throughout museum operations, including special events, exhibitions, programs, and other initiatives.
