Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our team. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying loan applications, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines, and coordinating with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved in the loan process. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of loan processing procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness

- Verify borrower information, including employment history, income, credit reports, and assets

- Ensure compliance with lending guidelines and regulations

- Calculate debt-to-income ratios and perform basic math calculations

- Prepare loan files for underwriting review

- Communicate with borrowers to request additional documentation or clarify information

- Coordinate with lenders, appraisers, title companies, and other parties to facilitate the loan process

- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower creditworthiness

- Input data into loan origination systems accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related field is preferred

- Proven experience as a Loan Processor or similar role

- Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures and regulations (Preferred)

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
