Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. A Loan Processor for manufactured home communities is results-oriented, process focused and highly organized. This person will be the calming voice on the other end of the phone to assist community managers, and sales team with the detailed paperwork needed to complete a manufactured home sale. They will teach and train field team members along the way ensuring each person becomes more and more familiar with the sales process. They will be a liaison between the lender and the field team member to answer questions as they arrive, and they will drive sales through the pipeline from application to close utilizing strong communication and relentless follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Enter sales application data to the Sales Pipeline for tracking purposes
- Review initial loan approval and work with field sales to gather appropriate documentation from the borrower
- Assist with sales documentation questions and ensure paperwork is being filled out fully and correctly.
- Ensure Sales Pipeline Database is updated timely and accurately with information submitted by the lenders
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA, and other relevant lending regulations
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and other financial metrics
- Collaborate with field management on training needs for the sales process
- Answer questions via phone, email and instant messages on sales document and applications questions for field sales.
- Be/become an expert on lending guidelines through the industry preferred lenders to assist with questions on approvals and denials.
- Provide reporting and tracking of lender applications, approvals, denials, exceptions and funded sales.
Requirements:
- Data Entry and administrative reporting experience
- Knowledge of basic math and financial principles
- CRM system experience and pipeline management (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Technologically proficient with MS Office software products and able to learn new programs with ease
- 1-3 years relevant work experience in Loan Processing, Underwriting, Mortgage Processing or similar
