JOB TITLE: Loan Processor- FNMA/FMAC and Escrow

Education requirements:
- Associates Degree preferred; High School diploma required.
Experience or Skill requirements:
- 3 years loan documentation or processing experience preferred.
- Mortgage lending experience preferred. Experience with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac a plus.
- Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detailed and organized.
- Willing to work independently.
- High level of professionalism.
Duties (subject to change based on department needs):
Primary Responsibility:
- Prepare reconcilement of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac escrow and loan disbursement checking accounts.
- Prepare all necessary reporting to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
- Handle all escrow insurance and taxes for in-house portfolio loans.
Other Loan Processor duties:
- Process mail daily (payments and payoffs).
- Process all types of loans and renewals within 48 hours of them being scanned.
- Review all type of loans and renewals within 7 days of processing for accuracy.
- Release collateral on paid off loans, including proper mailing to customer or other institution.
- Release Titles
- Email Loan Officer/Loan Officer Assistant to release a Deed of Trust on a paid off loan.
- Enter tracking when a loan is processed.
- Process activations/history cards.
- Process File Maintenances and Holds.
- Process and review Auto Debits and Interest Extensions.
- Prepare, scan and release certain items both through Capture and PDF files.
- File notes and loan folders.
- Handle questions and requests on loan matters both by phone and e-mail.
- Other duties as assigned.
Relationships:
The Loan Processor-FNMA/FMAC and Escrow will work with the Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, and Post Closers.
