Position Description

Under general supervision assist department leadership in the Loan Servicing department. Is responsible for staff support and processes related to DMV servicing, Collateral Protection servicing and Credit Reporting. Assists Loan Servicing department leadership as directed. Provides assistance with departmental training and the maintenance of departmental procedures, compiling statistical data for management review. Responsible for staying current with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Provides assistance to departmental staff as assigned to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of service to internal and external members. Assumes responsibility for the department when department leadership is absent.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent. Five years’ experience within a financial institution and two years of experience in a Loan Servicing environment. Two years of management/supervisor experience. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrates exemplary member service skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks. Expert knowledge of credit union products and services, and Loan Servicing operations, including practices, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Expert with Microsoft Windows and core lending systems. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Position Responsibilities

With a committed focus on delivering high quality member service, the Loan Servicing Supervisor will be responsible for managing departmental functions with emphasis on DMV servicing, Collateral Protection Insurance and Credit Reporting. Oversee servicing for title and registration and develop and maintain an ongoing and effective relationship with Title and Lien origination, dealers, regulatory agencies, and members. Oversee and provide backup assistance for Collateral Protection Insurance involving add-ons and refunds and work with vendors and members. Analyzes Loan Servicing processes and makes appropriate recommendations to department staff, internal members and NGFCU leadership. Responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing a variety of Loan Servicing reports and communicate the results to management.

Compensation and Job Title is commensurate with experience and may fall under the following pay ranges:

Loan Servicing Supervisor - $29.41/hr to $41.18/hr
